Remote Access to your school email account or school folders
(non-C2k access - home, local library etc.)

It is now possible to access your email account, your school folders or Learning NI from any PC which has an internet connection (e.g. from home, local library).

Please note that only Internet Explorer can be used to access your documents.

You will then be prompted to enter your username and password to authenticate yourself to the C2k WAN service.

You should prefix your username with the word school (e.g. school\username123). Note it is not ballyclarehigh, but simply school. However, you only require the username and password to access Lerning NI (no need to prefix it by school.)

Webfolders update

1. The speed of the download of the mail or files will be determined by the speed of your access to the internet. If you have a broadband connection, you may achieve the same sort of speed that you enjoy in school. Please be patient if you are using a dialup connection and avoid downloading large emails or large files.

2. Note that you are under the same constraints and responsibilities as if you are using your email or server in school.

3. It is most important that all browser window are closed whenever you have finished to keep your email and folders secure.
