Three pupils and three members of staff participated in a televised quiz at the BBC's Blackstaff Studios in Belfast to see if grown-ups really do understand their young charges.
Mark Sewell (y11), Claire Cinnamon (y10) and Joanna Mills (y10) entered into a titanic struggle with Mr Lenaghan, Mr Gault and Ms McClelland on subjects as diverse as Shakespeare and Friends.  Proceedings were presided over by broadcaster John Daley and the creative efforts of Mr Reid, Mr Moreland and Alex Redmond (U6) were evaluated by Mrs Mairs with Jennifer and Lynda from the office staff.

In a contest that was rarely competitive, the triumph of youth over experience was painfully apparent. You can see more this contest this Thursday (19 October 2006) at 7.00 o'clock on BBC 1. One not to miss!
