Ballyclare High School Pupils – A Law unto themselves - Pictures and report from the MOOT Courtroom dramas (April 2010 - this is the press release prepared by DCP)
Congratulations to the First XI Girls' Hockey Team on their excellent victory against a very competitive team from BRA in the final of the Ulster Shield. The match was not decided until the last few minutes of the match when Vanessa Surgenor scored the winning goal.
The final score was Ballyclare High School 3, Belfast Royal Academy 2

Young Cook of the Year Competition: Congratulations to Aimee Russell from Year 9 won a regional prize sponsored by the Dairy Council for NI. She is the Key Stage 3 winner for NEELB at The Young Cook of The Year Competition. Aimee was one of 15 young people out of over 200 applicants who made it through to the regional finals. Well done Aimee!

What a tremendous match Ballyclare High School had against Methodist College in the Quarter Final of the Northern Bank Schools' Cup. With the forecast of heavy snow for Wednesday, the match was brought forward to Tuesday 23 February.Bus loads of supporters travelled to Pirie Park and were not disappointed. They saw their team take part in a fantastic match against Methody who are one of the favourites to win the Schools' Cup this year. The score at half-time was 5 - 0 to Methody, but a last minute try, gave the away team a flattering victory of 20 points to nil.
